DIVISION FOUR REPORT: Reshuffled Fortune finish with a win

First published in News

DIVISION Four runners-up Fortune Inn decided to shuffle their pack for the final game of the season at bottom of the table Spartans FC.

For 45 minutes they wished they hadn’t as they found themselves a goal down before they turned on the style in the final 30 minutes of the second half to hit six unanswered goals to run out 6-1 victors.

Spartans, who played the whole game with 10 players, took a half-time lead through Andy Rose lead but his effort was to count for nothing as second-half goals from Joe Hylands, Ryan Kubilius, Matty Jenkins, keeper Del Llewellyn - who played the second half outfield and scored from the penalty spot - and Ed Baldwin whose brace made up Fortune’s half dozen.
