DIVISION ONE: Crown blown away by Jager

FC JAGER took maximum points from their visit to Crown FC (Rowde) and their 6-2 triumph means that Barry Holloway’s men can at last be crowned Division One champions, leaving Gladstone Arms, who started the day top of the pile, to finish as runners-up.

James Eatough was the star of the show for Jager as he netted a hat-trick as the Wiltshire Sunday Cup winners hit a struggling Crown for six.

Rob Manning, Emilio Menghini and captain Mike Hopkins shared the other.

Jake Fisher scored both goals for Crown and both sides along with referee Roger Smith are to be congratulated for getting the match played in terrible conditions at Sands Lane.
