MARK Collier says he is not pressing the panic button over Chippenham Town’s dip in form just yet.

The Bluebirds started the season on fire, suffering just two defeats in their opening 18 games in all competitions.

However, the are currently on a five-match winless run and face a stiff challenge to put that right on Saturday.

Collier’s troops host third-placed Redditch United, a side who beat fellow title challengers Leamington Spa in their previous league game.

“It is a concern as we want to be winning every game but it’s not a worry,” said Collier.

“We have played some good sides and in this league there are no gimmes. You look down some tables and you think you should beat this team or that team but that’s not the case here.

“Although we haven’t been at our best we have still been hanging in there and picking up points at that’s important.

“We are not in poor form but we are not in great form either so we would love to turn that around and get back to winning ways.

“We are coming up against a very good Redditch side. They are probably the in-form team in the division.

“They will fancy their chances and we will have to be at our best but I’d like to think they will have to be at their best too.”
