CHIPPENHAM Town will be forced to wait to travel to Westwood Road in St Ives after their trip to Cambridge City was postponed for the second time in five days.

Mark Collier's Chippenham saw their game on the road at Cambridge, who are currently groundsharing with St Ives Town, called off last weekend due to a waterlogged pitch.

With City in action against Hitchin Town on Monday night, the clash was hastily rearranged for tonight but that clash has also fallen foul of the elements.

Chippenham are now set to travel to Cambridge on Wednesday, April 13.

The Bluebirds, who are currently second in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division, tackle a vital encounter with third-placed Hitchin next Saturday.

The Canaries are level on points with Collier's troops and have a game in hand.
