CHIPPENHAM Town Ability Counts came out of their winter break, travelling to the indoor Futsal Arena in Swindon.
The Bluebirds soon dispensed of Salisbury Green 4-1 and followed up with an emphatic 6-2 victory over Swindon Olympic, with Jordan Bullock hitting a hat-trick.
A 1-1 draw against Salisbury Orange was followed by two defeats, but a fightback against Highworth Town set them up for a thrilling clash against Melksham Town, which Chippenham won 1-0 in a hard-fought contest.
Player of the day was goalkeeper Toby Bevens. The goalscorers were Chris Hornsby, who netted six times, while Bullock notched four, as did Ashley Maunder.
Mathew Blacker was also on target to leave Chippenham joint-third in the table.
The next round of games is at home at Stanley Park this month.
