SWINDON Town striker Scott Twine has rejoined National League South side Chippenham Town on loan until the end of the season.

Teenage striker Twine enjoyed a stint at the Bluebirds earlier this season on an initial three-month loan, scoring four times in 10 appearances for Mark Collier's side, including a brace in the 5–1 Hardenhuish Park victory over Hemel Hempstead Town two weeks after his arrival.

However, his loan spell was subsequently cut short after the 18 year old suffered a hamstring injury and he returned to Swindon Town, sitting on the bench for the Boxing Day defeat by Luton Town and New Year's Day win at Barnet.

Collier though made no secret of his desire to get the youngster back down the M4, despite the recent front-line signings of Jake Jackson and Nick McCootie.

Veteran Marc Richards' arrival at the County Ground has also meant Twine's chances of game time at Swindon are likely to be limited for the remainder of the campaign.

Collier, who will have Twine for tomorrow's National League South trip to Poole Town, said: "He (Twine) will add a real quality to us.

"He was outstanding earlier in the season and gives us further options and another goal threat.''
