PREMIER DIVISION: With the race for the Premier Division title getting ever
more intense, the battle to avoid the drop to Division One is just as
intriguing.
DIVISION ONE: With all four semi-finalists in the WG Parr Trophy coming from
Division One, this weekend will see only four league matches taking place.
DIVISION TWO: This weekend’s programme sees the top six teams in the table
take on sides in the bottom half, so if the results go to plan the league
standings should remain exactly the same come Sunday afternoon.
DIVISION THREE: It’s crunch time for teams at both ends of the table. Leaders Biddestone White Horse are away at White Horse and both teams need
the points, but for different reasons.
DIVISION FOUR: Steeple Ashton Rangers will be aiming to secure a 13th
successive victory that would help them cement their position at the top of
the table when they make the short trip to Bratton to lock horns with an
in-form Trowbridge Town Supporters’ Club, who will be going all out to seal
an eighth win from their last 10 outings to keep them in third place.
CORSHAM Centre, who are just one victory away from becoming the first
Robson Taylor, Chippenham League side to win the Wiltshire Sunday Cup on two
occasions, will return to Wootton Bassett on Sunday April 13 as they bid to
write another chapter in the league's record books.
PREMIER DIVISION: With Corsham Centre in Wiltshire Sunday Cup action, both
Biddestone Social and Westbury Rangers A seized their opportunity to move
above the defending champions, courtesy of victories over Dog and Fox Ashley
and Maud Heath Sports respectively.
DIVISION ONE: Leaders The Ship opened up a three point lead over Potterne at
the top of the table after they beat the villagers 5-2 at their Stallards
pitch in Trowbridge.
DIVISION TWO: Having beaten their nemesis Crown Cosmos last weekend, it was
almost a case of after the Lord Mayor’s Show for leaders Cooper-Avon, who
came close to undoing their good work when they were held to a 4-4 draw at
Bremhill View Social Club.
