POTTERNE might have made their own little piece of league history in their
midweek 5-0 win over Biddestone Arms in Division One - with three brothers
sharing the goals.
DIVISION TWO: One of the biggest matches of the weekend is the one at The
Conigre, Melksham, where Division Two leaders Cooper-Avon welcome high
scoring White Hart Combe, who are three points behind them in second spot
and who could spoil the promotion celebrations.
DIVISION THREE: AFC Bell might be sitting proudly at the top of Division
Three after their victory over Corsham Park Rangers on Thursday night saw
them open up a two point lead over Biddestone White Horse, but they could
come back down to earth with a bang on Sunday when they clash with local
rivals The Crown, who are presently in fifth spot and have a very good
chance of coming out on top in the all-Devizes based affair as the pub sides
go head-to-head at Green Lane.
DIVISION FOUR: Long time leaders Steeple Ashton Rangers need three points
from their remaining three matches to be certain of being crowned champions
in their first season in the league, but with Riverside Renegades breathing
down their necks their know they can’t afford any slip-ups as the
Bradfordians are waiting to seize any chance they may get.
PREMIER DIVISION: Terrific Thursday lived up to expectations as the top two
sides in the Premier Division continued to match each other win for win last
night.
WESTBURY Rangers B and Bromham will believe they wasted 90 minutes after last night's Third Division match at Meadow Lane failed to produce a winner or any goals.
