DIVISION FOUR: Having had pole position wrestled from from their grasp on Thursday night, long time leaders Steeple Ashton Rangers regained the number one spot yesterday when they beat Chippenham-based Three Crowns United 2-1.
PREMIER DIVISION: After eight months and 36 Sundays of fixtures this
weekend’s programme of matches in the Premier Division could turn out to be
one of the most compelling of the campaign as all four games feature teams
either involved in the pursuit of the title or in the battle to avoid
relegation.
DIVISION ONE: The Ship go into their match against Foresters Arms at the
Stallards, Trowbridge, on Sunday knowing that a point from the game will be
good enough to see them clinch the Division One title after a nervy climax
to a campaign that they totally dominated until recently.
DIVISION TWO: With just over a week before the conclusion of the season,
there promises to be no let-up in the race to be crowned Division Two
champions.
DIVISION THREE: With AFC Bell looking likely to be crowned on Thursday night
when they face Bromham, the race is on for the runners-up spot and this
weekend’s clash between second-placed Biddestone White Horse and Pheasant
could decide who gets the second automatic promotion spot .
DUE to a waterlogged pitch at Green Lane, Devizes, the venue for tonight's Second Division match between promotion hopefuls Crown Cosmos and Sutton Benger has been changed.
