CHIPPENHAM Sports and Social Club striker Jason Cole has been suspended from playing in the league for nine months after he was caught turning out for another club.
Cole has been suspended from playing in the league until the end of the season and will not be allowed to re-register until January 2009 after turning out for Pack Horse Rangers recently.
Chippenham Sports are also being closely monitored by league officials, who are looking into reports that they have been using ineligible players in their last few matches and if found guilty they will lose any points gained in those games. Any players found guilty could face similar action to Cole
Chippenham Sports just managed to beat the drop last term and until recently they looked odds on to go down this term but with three points from their last two matches they have given themselves hope of performing another great escape to match that of last season.

However manager Jason Bull can't afford any slip-ups from now until the end of the season and with possible points deduction facing them could face an uphill battle.
