The top two sides in Division One go into their game at the
Northbrook knowing that no matter what happens with North Bradley, who have
now committed to seeing out the season, Lee Hayward and his crew at the Ship
are champions and Potterne are runners-up.
But even if Bradley should fail to complete their campaign things would not
change due to Potterne's 5-4 defeat against British Lion last night which
confirmed that the Ship can start celebrating winning the title.
When the teams met in March the Ship won 5-2 and on a normal day you would
have to say that Lee Hayward's side would take the spoils again but with
many of the Ship's players having attended Trowbridge Town's end of season
party on Saturday night it waits to be seen if they will be focused on the
game now they know the title is their hands.
Whatever the outcome both teams will be playing top-flight football next
term and it would be a surprise if the game didn't produce plenty of goals,
with a draw being a good possibility.
North Bradley v British Lion
NORTH Bradley are due to host British Lion on Sunday, just 24 hours after
they are scheduled to play their outstanding fixtures away at AFC Calne.
Bradley's future, which looked bleak earlier this week, now look better. If
they defy the odds and complete their campaign, with home advantage and with
players certain to turn up for their final match of the season, they could
actually beat their guests, especially if they can recapture the form that
saw them stun Rowde in their previous encounter when Ryan Baggs scored a
hat-trick in their 5-3 success.

The British Lion go into the game on the back of a victory over Potterne so
the best possible finish thy can attain is third place, much to the
displeasure of Rowde who were hoping they would finish above their fierce
rivals.
The Lion defeated Bradley 6-2 less than a month ago, thanks to two goals
apiece from Andrew Webster, Luke Enderby and Nathan Wes,t and they will be
confident of completing a league double but a lot will depend on which
Bradley side if any turns up for the game which if they approach with the
right attitude they could actually win.
