Bendall is players' choice at Chippenham United

Daniel Bendal who only joined fourth division Chippenham United RAOB in November was recognised by his peers for his contribution to their efforts in what has been a hard season for Steve Shipway's side, Bendall picked up the Players' Player of the season award of which he was a worthy recipient ahead of Matt Page and Gavin Freegard.

Matt Page may have missed out on the top honour but he walked away with the clubs golden boot award after scoring 13 of his sides 36 goals last term.

The presentation night finally marked the end of the line for Chippenham United RAOB who will be playing under a new name next season with a management team of Steve Shipway and Matt Blackmore as his assistant.
