DIVISION TWO: Pheasant FC flew to the top of the Second division last night after their 10-0 demolition of The Crown Devizes and are now in pole position to take the title which will be deserved after missing out on Knockout Cup glory back in April.
In their previous two games Pheasant have won, 8-0 and 9-0 and another scintillating performance saw them hit the goal trail once again as they put on an awesome display against a Crown side who had claimed a 1-1 draw from the reverse fixture but they were given a footballing lesson on their own patch to deny them a fourth straight win.
Ben Highmore led the onslaught with a four goal bust, Liam Phillimore claimed a treble and singles from Rob Stephens, Garry Lock and Alex Orledge completed the double figures ahead of the ir game with basement side Affordable Mortgages Villa.
