DIVISION THREE: British Lion roar to another win to stay top of the table

Although Trowbridge Town Supporters Club manager, Kevin Williams was able to call on a few more of his squad for their fixture at home to the third division leaders British Lion they were unable to prevent Danny Thompson’s from claiming a 3-0 win at Bratton.

With three games being postponed in Division One due to teams being unable to raise sides it meant that leaders Pheasant whose scheduled match with Atworth was called off ended up playing Foresters Arms who game with FC Colerne was put off until another day.

THIRD Division leaders British Lion travel to Bratton for their first meeting of the season with relegation-threatened Trowbridge Town Supporters Club knowing that their hosts can be a lot better than their league position suggests. While Danny Thompson’s Devizes-based British Lion have dropped seven points from a possible 32 and have seen their lead at the top cut to just two, their hosts have gained just six from a potential 30.
