MARK Francis has penned a one-year contract at Frome Town after the striker was the subject of an approach from Chippenham Town.

The 19-year-old former Swindon Town man has scored five goals so far this season for the Robins and has agreed a deal to remain at Badgers Hill after interest from Frome's West Country rivals.

Francis, who first joined the Robins on loan last season, is currently playing alongside former Swindon team-mate Aaron Oakley, who had his own loan spell with Chippenham last term.

Adrian Foster's Frome make the trip to Arlesey Town in the Southern League Premier Division tomorrow whilst the Bluebirds are away to near neighbours Cirencester Town.
