AFTER throwing away a lead against Heytesbury last weekend, it was a case of deja-vu for second division Trowbridge Rangers at Holt.

After overturning a half-time deficit to lead 2-1, Rangers were unable to hold on as Holt fought back to open their account for the season with a 3-2 win.

Zack Manna’s goal for Holt was eclipsed by Jordan Field and Owen Reece's own goal, but Holt came through as Mitch Hamber levelled and Manna netted the winner.

Westbury Town kept up their 100 per cent winning start to the season with a convincing 4-0 win over struggling Calne Eagles.

Three first-half goals effectively killed the contest, Jack Parker, Mathew Morgan and Wayne Wheeler on target.

Westbury completed the scoring with 15 minutes to go with a well-worked goal and superb finish from sub Shane Newman.

After throwing away a 2-0 lead against Worton & Cheverell last weekend, Bradford United Reserves enjoyed a fine 3-0 win at Heytesbury.

Heytesbury found themselves one down after eight minutes to a Tim Bruton penalty and Jimmy Meade doubled the lead on 24 minutes. Bruton's second arrived in the 85th minute.

Trowbridge Wanderers Reserves and Worton & Cheverell had kicked off their campaign with victories, but Worton followed it up courtesy of a 7-3 victory.

Adam Bewley’s penalty gave Worton the lead and Billy Drewitt doubled the score before half time. After the break a second from Bewley made it 3-1 before Will Bayley got Wanderers back into it.

Jack Pearce's first goal for Worton restored their three-goal advantage but Bayley and Ben Rogers narrowed the deficit to the odd goal.

Bewley's third and fourth goals and Scott Stroud's 30-yarder completed Worton’s triumph.
