A FOURTH straight league victory for Holt FC took Ben Hogg’s side top.

Their 1-0 victory for the villagers away at previous table toppers Westbury Town came from Mark Reynolds’ first-half strike.

United FC recorded their first win of the season, coming from 2-0 down to beat Bradford United Reserves 5-2 at Culver Close.

Goals from Charlie Powell and Sam Phillips put Bradford in a good position before Jakub Koman started the comeback.

A first goal for the club from Mirek Uszpelkat drew them level in the second half, Koman again, Marcin Kaminski and Bartek Fedyk securing the win.

Calne Eagles picked up their first league of the season with a hard-fought win 4-1 over Worton & Cheverell.

Kieron Gleed teed up strike partner Josh Eades who rifled home the opener, but Harley Woodman fired in the equaliser from 25 yards.

Jordan Winter’s pass set up Gleed to restire the lead after the break and Gleed scored his second from Roy Wenham’s long clearance.

Eades also got his second of game, tapping in from close range and Gleed missed a late penalty.

Heytesbury’s Leigh Kennedy found the net again, but fell short in his bid for a fifth successive hat-trick despite his side beating Trowbridge Wanderers Reserves 6-1.

Brendan Hind netted after good work from Bradley Edwards before Hind made it 2-0.

Kennedy lashed in a 20-yarder for 3-0 before Wanderers reduced the arrears through Mike Ritson’s effort from distance.

Chris Baker made it 4-1 before Joe Martin’s brilliant effort and Matthew Hyde’s quality finish ended the scoring.

White Horse fell behind at home to Trowbridge Rangers but once Paul Beavers headed home from close range on 30 minutes to cancel out Cameron Thomas 10th-minute effort for Rangers, it was business as usual.

Pete Ayton’s side went on to claim a 4-2 win, Kane Scott and two from Steve Munday securing the points.
