SOMERSET PREMIER CUP: Freshford march on in Somerset Cup
FRESHFORD United maintained their interest in this season’s Somerset Junior Cup after they disposed of previously-unbeaten Taunton & District League Division One leaders Locomotives FC.
An own goal put Freshford ahead, Waleed Bakali made it 2-0 and Nick Ross scored a third prior to half time.
Second-half goals from Tom Rooney and Steve Roddy wrapped up a 5-0 win.
