WARMINSTER Town booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Wiltshire Senior Cup as they swept aside Wiltshire League outfit Southbrook last weekend.

Derek Graham and Andy Crabtree’s men made the trip to Swindon on Saturday and returned to Weymouth Street with a 5-1 triumph under their belts.

Midfielder Tom Golledge set up Alex Lapham to put Warminster in front before George Butler pulled the ball back from the byline for Jack Miluk to smash home the visitors’ second.

Youngster Henry McFerran headed in his first goal for Town and Golledge rounded the Southbrook keeper to make it 4-0 before the break.

The home side reduced the deficit but Otis Young squared for Tom Welch to make it five and seal Warminster’s last-eight spot.

A water-logged pitch put paid to Wednesday’s league game against Chippenham Park.
