IT WAS a case of two points dropped for Paul Shanley’s men as they were held to a 0-0 draw with Sherborne Town on Wednesday night.

Despite dominating large periods of the second half Bradford could not find a way past a stern Sherborne back line.

After picking up a comfortable win last Saturday with a 5-1 defeat of Mere Town in the Wiltshire Senior Cup, Shanley was hoping that his side could continue that form into the league.

“I felt we deserved the three points to be fair,” said the Town manager.

“In the first half an hour we were probably second best, but I changed the shape in the last 15 minutes and in the second half we were well on top.

“I am pleased we kept a clean sheet because we haven’t been able to do that recently.

“When you’re at home you have got to be winning so it is two points dropped I suppose.”

Bradford have no game this weekend which will give them a much needed rest after Jake Hiscocks and Sam Jordan both picked up ankle injuries on Wednesday night.
