BRADFORD United Reserves may remain bottom of the Division Two table, but a 3-2 win at home over Worton & Cheverell saw Ross Hatter’s beleaguered side claim their first win in 12 outings and end an 11-match losing run that stretched back to the start of September when they defeated Heytesbury 3-0.

Jack Bristow, who also missed a penalty, scored twice and Sam Phillips once to put Bradford 3-0 up before Chris Webb and Scott Stroud gave Worton hope.

Three victories from their previous four league outings had gone some way to easing the relegation fears of Calne Eagles and they boosted their hopes of beating the drop even further with a 3-3 draw at home to fellow strugglers Trowbridge Rangers.

Rangers actually led 3-1 at one stage before a stunning double from Russell Driver earned Eagles a share of the spoils.

Jordan Winter scored Eagles' first give them the lead before goals from Mark Smith, Will Jacomb and Cameron Thomas, from the penalty spot, looked to have won it for Rangers.

Holt remain in second spot thanks to their 7-0 victory over United FC. The win earned Ben Hogg’s side their eighth maximum pointer of the campaign and preserved the only remaining 100 per cent record in the division.

Zack Manna and Fynn McCarthy-Driver score two each, Adam Casserly, Josh Ferguson and a Rafal Gasiorek own goal secured the points for Holt.

Westbury Town continue to set the pace at the top of the table, a hard earned 5-1 victory at home to Trowbridge Wanderers Reserves helped Matt Gardiner’s side maintain their three-point advantage over second-placed Holt.

Westbury went one up through Phil Hampson, but they had keeper Scott Walford to thanks for preserving their slender lead when he saved a Ben Rogers penalty.

Wayne Wheeler, two more for Hampson and Adam Bewley’s late goal made up Westbury’s five. Wanderers' reply came via a Mike Ritson penalty.
