A FORTNIGHT on from their 5-0 victory over Semington Magpies at Browns Park, Chris Birleson’s Freshford United completed the double over Dave Jenkins side.

A 6-1 triumph for the defending Trowbridge Windows & Conservatories - sponsored Trowbridge League Division One champions saw them move ahead of North Bradley and close to within three points of leaders Bradford United who they face later this month.

Craig Brown opened the scoring for Freshford when he pounced on a loose clearance and lashed the ball home from 30 yards out.

Dave Roddy doubled Freshford’s lead when he planted the ball home after being set up by Steve Roddy.

The same two players combined to make it 3-0 before half time, again Percival fining the net after more good work from Roddy.

Freshford continued to press after the break and Dave Percival added his third of the afternoon and his team's fourth. Unlike his first two goals, his third was a fine solo effort. After picking up a loose clearance he skipped beyond a couple of defenders before firing home.

Steve Roddy went from provider to scorer with goals five and six for Freshford, Nick Ross put him through on goal to make it 5-0 and it was Tom Rooney who claimed the assist for his second of the game which was his 32nd of the season to date.

Sean Meer scored a late consolation for Semington.
