DEREK Graham is hoping his Warminster Town team will have firmly drawn a line under their disappointing defeat at the hands of Almondsbury UWE when they arrive at Wincanton Town tomorrow.

Last weekend, an understrength Warminster were thrashed 4-1 in Bristol, with Alex Lapham’s first-half equaliser proving little more than a consolation goal as the hosts’ Simon McElroy hit a hat-trick, with Aaron Jones also netting.

Graham and Andy Crabtree’s side go looking to bounce back when they head to third-from-bottom Wincanton on Saturday and the Weymouth Street outfit are hopeful of bolstering their ranks with a number of returnees.

Striker Matt Minnis is expected to feature after he was called up by parent club Frome Town for their FA Trophy clash with Egham Town last weekend, whilst goalkeeper Carl Crabtree could also return.

Youngsters Dan Wilkins and Jack Richardson also return to the fold after playing for the Wiltshire FA U18s last Saturday.

“We were missing quite a few last weekend – Dan Price played, even though he’s not fully-fit, and people like Louis Sparey and George Butler are still injured,” said Graham.

“We still had a good team out but it was a disappointing performance. We need to be a lot better and changes will be made.

"We know that Wincanton are struggling but we don't take any team lightly in this league."
