SHAY Allen netted a last-minute equaliser as Westbury United shared the points with league leaders Cheddar.
Westbury had not created anything in the opening exchanges at Meadow Lane but an error by Mark Armstrong gifted the ball to Josh Ferguson, who chipped over Kieron Webster to put them 1-0 up.
Play flowed from end to end and keeper Charlie Heydon was helpless to keep out Adam Jones’ equaliser two minutes before the break after a sustained spell of pressure.
The second half got off to a comparatively scrappy and stop-start beginning until the visitors went ahead just after the hour when Jones notched his second goal with a powerful finish.
Just as it seemed that James Goddard’s side would finish without a point, United snatched a share of the spoils when a moment of genius from Allen saw him latch onto Jordon Matthews' ball and send a 25-yard strike into the top corner.
Westbury are on the road this weekend and travel to Ashton & Backwell United, who are just two places and two points above them.
