NEIKELL Plummer cracked home a hat-trick to ensure that Bradford Town followed up Saturday’s FA Vase win at Buckland Athletic with three points in the league.

Sam Jordan opened the scoring against Brislington with less than two minutes gone on Wednesday night before unfortunate Bradford defender Mike Reaney couldn’t help but turn a cross into his own net as parity was restored but Paul Shanley’s side roared back, inspired by striker Neikell Plummer.

The Bradford man fired in a 25-yard strike to put the hosts 2-1 up at the break before Elan Plummer crossed into the path of the home frontman, who grabbed his second of the game as his shot wickedly deflected into the net off a Brislington defender.

Neikell Plummer sealed his treble with a free-kick slotted into the bottom corner.

  • BRADFORD Town U18s reached the semi-finals of the Wiltshire Youth Cup with a 3-0 win at Bemerton Heat Harlequins on Sunday.

Kyle Webb scored twice and Ashton Shanley – son of Bradford’s first-team manager Paul – netted.

Bradford will face one of Melksham Town, New College (Swindon) or Swindon Supermarine in the last four, with the draw still to be made.
