WESTBURY Town made it seven wins from seven in Division Two as they beat Luxol St Andrews Reserves 3-1.

Jason Edwards' side had the top spot wrestled away from them by Trowbridge Wanderers Reserves, but with four games in hand and just six points between them and the leaders, it shouldn’t take long for Westbury to regain the ascendancy.

Town fell behind to a Jack Parker goal but fashioned an equaliser prior to the break, Adam Bishop firing home a free kick to level matters.

After the interval and with the wind in their favour Westbury got their noses in front through Joe Moloney and they wrapped up a seventh straight victory to maintain their perfect start thanks to Dean Murden’s third goal of the season.

A 6-3 victory for Trowbridge Wanderers Reserves at Zeals FC means that Mark Hurkett’s side will top Division Two at Christmas and go into 2016 with a six-point lead over the chasing pack.

A first-half double from Joao Rodrigues counted for very little for Zeals as Josh Maguire and then a four-goal blitz from Ashley Styles gave Wanderers a 5-2 interval lead.

Zeals may have fared a lot better in the second half, which saw both teams add a single goal to their first-half efforts, but by the time Aaron Carter had scored number three for the hosts the damage had already been done as Steve Bryant had put Wanderers 6-2 up to leave everything done and dusted.
