WARMINSTER Town racked up a third win on the spin courtesy of victories at Bishop Sutton and Calne Town over the Bank Holiday weekend.

On Saturday, Andy Crabtree’s men won 2-0 at Bishop Sutton, with Jack Miluk and Tom Welch netting to see off the Toolstation League First Division’s bottom side.

Then on Monday, Warminster travelled to county rivals Calne and ran out 3-1 winners at Bremhill View.

The visitors broke the deadlock after 10 minutes when a sloppy back-pass to Calne keeper Rob Pocock was pounced on by Miluk to slot home.

The hosts tried to press but were hit with a sucker-punch when Miluk got his second of the game after Pocock could not hold an initial effort.

Warminster were now rampant and moved three goals to the good before the break when Charlie Walton hit the net.

Calne came out in the second half with more determination and gave themselves a glimmer of hope just after the hour mark when Mark Dolman sent a free-kick towards the back post, Kris Beasley headed back into the box, and Steve Allison was on hand to force it over the line.

However, Calne’s race was run five minutes later when Allison went from hero to zero after being given his marching orders for retaliating to a foul.

Crabtree’s side bring the curtain down on their campaign when they host Portishead Town at Weymouth Street on Saturday.
