WESTBURY United brought the curtain down on their season in disappointing fashion with a 2-0 defeat away at Radstock Town on Wednesday night.
The result means James Goddard’s side finish second from bottom in the table, having won just eight league games all season.
However, it does mark a slight improvement on last season’s outcome, which saw Westbury finish bottom of the pile.
United’s loss in Somerset completes a final week to forget as they also failed to find the back of the net on Saturday, going down 4-0 to county rivals Chippenham Park.
Darrin Moss struck to open the floodgates for Park at Hardenhuish Park and from there, Jamie Norman and Robbie Burton also got themselves on the scoresheet before Moss’ lobbed effort rounded things off for the home side.
