A 4-0 VICTORY for Luxol St Andrews over Hilperton United has taken them to the brink of being crowned Division One champions.
Luxol, who play defending champions in their final game on Saturday, are three points clear of Warminster Town Reserves, but should they lose at Freshford, Warminster would need to beat Semington by over 30 clear goals to deny Luxol top spot.
With the game switched to Lacock from Beversbrook with the latter being waterlogged, Cameron Thomas gave Luxol a first-half lead which was doubled by Aaron Cockerill.
Shavon Allen made it 3-0 before he added his second with what was an unbelievable strike. After flicking the ball up Allen conjured up an sublime bicycle kick that made it 4-0 and take his team to within a point of the title.
