Darren Perrin’s Melksham Town continued their unbeaten start to the Toolstation Premier Division when they registered a 3-0 away win over Chipping Sodbury Town, the result now puts them in 3rd place.

Bradford Town also got their season off to an unbeaten start, Matthew Morris put the home side ahead against Wells City, but substitute George Saunders equalised to make it 1-1.

In the Toolstation First Division it was a mixed bag of results, Calne Town were on the end of a disappointing 4-1 away defeat to table toppers Wellington, Calne’s goal was provided by Mark Dolman.

However, a hat-trick from Alexander Hiller plus goals from Daniel Sibley and Lewis McCarron topped of a five star performance for Chippenham Park as they came away 5-1 winners against Almondsbury UWE.

Devizes Town endured a weekend to forget as they were thumped 5-0 by Cheddar, after the weekend’s round of fixtures this leaves Darran Walters’ team in 7th place with four points.

Corsham Town have a right to be frustrated after they lost 1-0 at home to Portishead Town, the home side fell behind in the first half, Despite goalkeeper Sam Thomson saving a penalty, Nigel Tripp’s troops couldn’t get back into the game after Adam Shipman was given a red card.
