WESTBURY United booked their place in the second round of the FA Vase after they came from behind to beat Folland Sports on Saturday.

Folland Sports were a goal to the good at the break, but second-half goals from Jordan Pinder and Nathan Hallet-Young dragged James Goddard’s team to a 2-1 win.

Corsham Town also managed to when they beat United Services Portsmouth in a narrow 1-0 win at home, with Ben Pring’s strike separating the sides.

Chippenham Park were unable to book their place in the second round after they lost 5-1 at the hands of Alresford Town, despite taking the lead early on.

Warminter Town were also unsuccessful in their attempt of a cup run as they were beaten convincingly at Romsey Town, with the game ending 3-0 to the hosts.

Malmesbury Vics fell to the same scoreline as they too were beaten away, this time at the hands of AFC Stoneham.

In the Toolstation League Premier Division, Bradford Town and Melksham Town both secured league wins, as did Calne Town in the First Division.

Kane Simpson bagged a hat-trick while Dan Cottle got a double and Matt Morris with the other in an impressive performance by Bradford to secure a 6-2 win over the reigning champions Odd Down.

Bradford Town’s unbeaten start to the season continues as they currently sit in fourth place, three points off of the pace setters Buckland Athletic.

Melksham Town are second in the league after picking up their sixth win of the campaign when they defeated Brislington 5-2.

Dave Thompson, Kieran Baggs, Luke Ballinger, Warren Maidment and Callum Demkiv netted for Darren Perrin’s side Calne Town managed to win all three points in a close 1-0 win over Roman Glass St George, Stuart Windsor’s strike being enough to claim all three points.
