BRADFORD Town returned to winning ways in the Toolstation League Premier Division with a 2-1 triumph over Gillingham Town yesterday.

Danny Greaves’ men, who hadn’t tasted victory in the league since a 2-1 win at Hallen on October 1 going into Saturday’s clash, fell behind at Trowbridge Road but got themselves back into the game shortly before half-time as Karim Rendall headed home from Rickie Scott’s delivery.

Martin Lenihan then popped up with the winner with 62 minutes on the clock to get Bradford back on the straight and narrow.

Elsewhere, Melksham Town played out an exciting 3-3 draw with Odd Down at the Conigre, with Gary Higdon netting a penalty for the home side while Steve Hulbert and Luke Ballinger were also on target.

In the First Division, Corsham Town and Warminster Town shared the spoils as they drew 2-2 at the Southbank while Westbury United suffered a 2-1 loss at Wincanton Town.

Otis Young’s spectacular long-range effort lit up the first period but Wincanton levelled through Tom Morris and also struck the post before Matt Morley hit the winner.

Westbury’s Nathan Hallett-Young was introduced with seven minutes to go but shortly after coming on, he was sent back to the sidelines after being shown a red card for a challenge on Wincanton’s Jamie Stewart.
