BRADFORD Town collected all three points in a six-goal Toolstation League Premier Division thriller away at 4-2 win Cadbury Heath this weekend.

Karim Rendall set the pace early on as he raced clear, rounded the keeper and slotted the ball into the back of the net in the 12th minute to give the visitors the lead.

Half an hour in, Danny Greaves’ side were two goals ahead when Kane Simpson grabbed a goal from outside the six-yard box.

The hosts were able to find a reply in the 35th minute to half the deficit to a single goal before equalising five minutes before the break.

Luckily for Bradford, Martin Lenihan was on hand to put them back in front before Rendall’s second wrapped up the win in the 69th minute.

Melksham Town continued to make the most of home comforts as they too picked up all three points in a 4-1 win over Brislington.

Ben Thomson gave the home team the lead when his free-kick found the top corner in the 13th minute.

Gary Higdon added Melksham’s second on the hour mark, Thomson and Higdon then combined as the latter headed home Thomson’s free-kick to make it 3-0.

Sam Jordan completed the scoring when he too got on the end of a Thomson free-kick to complete the scoring before the visitors got a late consolation.

Westbury United’s new management team, Joe and Neil Kirkpatrick, got off to a less than ideal start at Meadow Lane as they slipped to a 1-0 Toolstation League First Division defeat at home to Bishop Sutton.

Devizes Town could only manage a point at home to Oldland Abbotonians as they drew 3-3 with the 16th-placed team.

Chippenham Park’s revival continued as they came from behind to win 2-1 at home to Keynsham Town - Aaron Ledgister and Mark Nolan with the goals.

Warminster Town had to settle for a point as they couldn’t find any way past Welton Rovers in a 1-1 draw, while Malmesbury Victoria had their fixture with Roman Glass St George postponed.

In the Hellenic League Premier Division, Royal Wootton Bassett Town were unable to make the breakthrough against Ascot United as they drew 0-0.
