CALNE Eagles suffered their first loss of the season in what was their final game of the season after they were beaten 2-1 by Three Daggers who, with two games remaining are favourites to clinch the Division Two title.

Both teams went into the championship decider with unbeaten records and when Kieron Gleed gave Eagles the lead everything looked rosy for Roy Wenham’s side.

Phil Hampson got Three Daggers on level terms prior to half-time and Shaun Sheppard with his ninth goal of the season took Sam Tucker’s side to the verge of lifting the title.

Bradford Town Youth defeated Trowbridge Town A 1-0 with the only goal of the game coming in the first half, Zak Berriman scoring.
