NEWCOMERS Westbury United Reserves are one of only three sides still boasting a 100 per cent record in the Wiltshire League Premier Division after two more rounds of matches were played this week.

The Meadow Lane side hit 10 goals in two games to sit atop the table, Otis Young scoring twice and Ferris Lamrabet, Joe Moloney and Ben Ryder also notching in a 5-1 win over Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development at the weekend.

The Reserves followed up emphatically on Tuesday night as Martin Johnson bagged a brace and Young, Conner McKay and Matt Mantay also found the net in a 5-0 thumping of Devizes Town Reserves.

Cricklade Town lost their 100 per cent record as they were held to a goalless draw by Purton in midweek, having shellacked Ludgershall Sports 11-0 on Saturday.

They are a point ahead of Melksham Town Reserves and Kintbury Reserves, who have both won their first three matches, Melksham swamping Malmesbury Victoria Development 8-2 at the weekend.

The Vics were also on the receiving end in midweek as champions Wroughton defeated them 4-0.

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development bounced back from their weekend defeat to Westbury with a 4-1 success over Marlborough Town on Tuesday, Ryan Withers scoring twice as well as Jack Sanderson and Hugo Vivash on target.

Trowbridge Town have yet to register a win this season after back-to-back defeats this week.

The Bees lost out 4-1 to Kintbury Reserves on Saturday and were then beaten 2-1 by unbeaten Corsham Town Reserves in midweek, Adam Mitchell and Ali Mayoh scoring for Corsham.
