TROWBRIDGE’S West Wiltshire Diving Club claimed all the titles for the fifth year running at the Wilts County ASA Diving Championships.

The main events were the junior and senior 1m, 3m and 5m platform board competitions.

Eve MacCallum dominated the junior and senior female springboard and platform events, retaining her titles for the third year running. Hot on her tail were team-mates Alexia Williams and Macy Hearne, taking an equal share of the bronze and silver medals.

West Wilts continued their dominance in the men’s events, with Finn Aubrey winning both senior 3m and 5m events and Jordan Edwards winning the senior 1m title. Oscar Lippiatt had to settle for silver on the day, due to a recurring injury.

The outstanding performance of the meet came from Jordan Edwards, who claimed the 1m, 3m and 5m junior titles. Rising star Conor Irwin was award three silver medals.

The divers will now prepare for this year’s Regional Age Group Qualifiers, which will held in Southampton on April 11 and 19.

Meanwhile, the club have received new kit bags courtesy of sponsors Dexion Storage Systems.

Scott Williams, Dexion’s Marketing Manager for the UK, said: “We are very proud to support this local club. These divers are the future of the sport in the county and as such they take our name all over the UK as they compete in competitions.”
