BRADFORD on Avon's Olympic champion Ed McKeever charged into tomorrow's final of the men's K1 200m event at the European Games in Azerbaijan this morning.
2012 gold medallist McKeever clocked 34.984 to win the morning's first heat in
Mingachevir, from Hungary's Miklos Dudas (35.218) with 2014 European champion Marko Dragosavljevic of Serbia in third in 35.218.
McKeever's time was third fastest overall in the three morning heats, Sweden's 2013 world and European champion Petter Menning clocking the fastest time while winning the second heat in 34.822.
