GYMNASTS from the Wiltshire School of Gymnastics competed against rivals from across the county at the annual Quatro Cup Competition.

The gymnasts, aged 10-17, were involved in the three-day event which involved more than 300 gymnasts.

Jessica Daykin led the way, finishing first in the Level Two 12/13 years category.

Also on the podium were Robyn Ellison and Chloe Daykin in the Level Two 14+ years section, while Nicole Parsons was third in the Level Three 11/12 years and Holly Gaiger second in the Level Four 12+ years group.

Voliet Browne was third in the Level Four 10 years section, with Abby Hemmens 10th in Level Five 10 years and Caitlin Mander likewise in Level Four 11 years, with Brooke Johnson seventh.

Voliet Browne was third in Level Four 10 years and Zoe Hunt 24th in Level Five 11+ years.

l AT the SW A Star event at City of Bristol Gymnastics Club, there were further Wiltshire School medals, Caitlin Mander taking gold overall and finishing first on vault and second on bars in the Level Four 10-11 years section.

Brooke Johnson and Violet Browne were sixth and ninth overall.

At Level Four 12-13 years, Holly Gaiger was fifth overall and third on floor, with Jasmine Frost fourth overall and second on bars and beam at Level Three 11-12 years.

Meanwhile Daykin, 13, has also been selected for the 2016 South West Squad following a series of successful competitions.
