BRADFORD on Avon's Hannah Brown ended her season in style by winning a bronze medal at the World Championships in the Czech Republic on Sunday.

Brown, already a double sprint wildwater world champion, teamed up with Banbuary's Angela Hannah to clinch third place in the womens' K2 200m final on the final day of the championships in Racice.

The duo, who had bowed out of the semi final stage of the K2 500m earlier in the week, clocked 37.993 seconds to finish behind the winners Reka Hagymasi and Agnes Szabo, from Hungary, and Italy's Susann Cicali and Francesca Genzo, who claimed silver.
