Chippenham Harriers travelled down to Dorset last weekend (4th July) and a number of members took part in the Charmouth - Golden Cap Challenge a 7.8 mile grage 'B' fell race taking in some splendid views of the Sout Coast including a climb to the highest point being Golden Cap itself.
We have been entering the event for a number of years with varying success and this year managed to pick up some good placings out of a total of 256 runners who took part, despite the heat.
Paul Key came home in a time of 1:00:37 and in 17th place overall, Tom Smith was close behind in a time of 1:03:38 33rd Overall.
First Chippenham Harrrier Lady was Sue Stewart Tanner with an impressive time of 1:13:21 101st overall.
Other members finishing were Paul Cox 1:18:40 (144th), Sarah Strange 1:23: 12 (184th), Ian Wiggins 1:27:14 (205th) and Steve Wood 1:39:09 (235th)
