FOR a fourth successive Saturday, there was no change in the standings for teams in Division Three.

For a third week running the weather took its toll on the fixture programme as all four scheduled games were lost to waterlogged pitches.

Westwood News have played one game more than their closest challengers Fleece and hold a healthy nine-point gap over them.

They are a further two points clear of third placed Bradford United Reserves who have played two matches more than the leaders.

The Stiffs are currently propping up the table with no win in nine games and just above them are both Bratton Reserves and United FC.

Polenez Westbury, who managed just one victory from 18 outings last term, already have three victories to their name this season and their nine points have come from eight games.

League newcomers Levi’s and Lacock are mid-table, both with 13 points to their name and Trowbridge Town Reserves and Trowbridge Rangers make up the sides looking to derail what looks to be an odds-on charge by Mark Hurkett’s Westwood side to the title.
