RUGBY: Bath add three to European squad

BATH have added veteran scrum-half Peter Stringer, hooker Rob Webber and number eight Ben Skirving to their bid for the Amlin Challenge Cup.

Under ERC rules, clubs are allowed to nominate three extra players to supplement their existiing 38-player European squads and Stringer, a two-time Heineken Cup winner with Munster, will add considerable nous to Bath, who host Stade Francais in the quarter finals on April 6 (1pm)

England hooker Webber is included after his comeback from injury in the second half of the season with Skirving, who will join Championship side Bristol next season, completing the trio.
