A few technical issues mean that we'll be switching to Twitter for the remainder of tonight's live blog.

Follow @WTSport for the conclusion of this fight, and the rest of the bill.

We'll have full reaction to tonight's fight night in next week's Wiltshire Times and Gazette & Herald.

Thanks for following!

10:14pm

Dochev continues to put up a spirited defence and he's upped his work-rate slightly in this round. It's absorbing stuff in this Masters title fight

10:12pm

It's a good round for Hughes, whose jab continues to hit the mark.

Round eight next!

10:08pm

Hughes' jab begins to put him back in control in the sixth, with Dochev's guard just not holding off the shots.

Four rounds remaining as we enter the seventh

10:04pm

The fifth is quite an even round - Dochev looks to have found a second wind and isn't going down wihtout a fight.

Round six is up next...

10:00pm

Round five of ten is underway

10:00pm

Dochev is making a bid to get back into this fight in the fourth though and the Bulgarian is beginning to unleash a few shots of his own after being on the receiving end for most of the fight up until this point.

Hughes is giving as good as he gets though and still looks the fighter in the ascendancy

9:56pm

And that brings the third to a close - it's Hughes in control in the early rounds.

Number four is just moments away

9:54pm

Hughes ups the tempo early on in the third - this time, the left jab is repeatedly leading to fierce combinations, with Dochev looking shaky again

9:51pm

It was a swift strike that lifted Dochev off his feet midway through that second round.

Hughes has his opponent where he wants him with his left jab - it's a positive start for the Malmesbury fighter.

Third round is on the way...

9:49pm

Hughes knocks down Dochev in the second round! The Bulgarian is claiming a slip but receives a count from referee Jeff Hinds!

9:48pm

It's quite a comfortable opening round for Hughes in his first-ever title fight. There weren't too many shots thrown by his Bulgarian opponent.

Second round coming up...

9:47pm

9:45pm

There's a decent support for the Malmesbury fighter as he finds his range early on

9:44pm

This is a big step up for Hughes as he bids for his first title.

The bell has rung and we're underway in the first round!

9:43pm

There's no time to get your head around that one - we're straight in to the International Masters light-welterweight bout.

Joe Hughes takes on Kristan Dochev over ten rounds

9:42pm

But there's controversy as Gareth Heard is on the wrong end of a 39-38 decision against Keith Sheen.

The Bradford man is perplexed by the decision and shows his disbelief to referee Jeff Hinds, but the decision stands

9:39pm

And the final bell rings, we're off the judge's scorecard

9:38pm

Heard is exploding a lot more now as the final round wears on, with the Bradford fighter beginning to have some success with the uppercut

9:36pm

Neither fighter really giving away an inch in the third round - that is, right up until Heard unleashes a barrage of combinations late on to attempt to exert some authority.

It's still finely poised going in to the fourth and final round, which has just gotten underway

9:32pm

But Heard finishes the second round with a flurry.

Third round moments away...

9:30pm

Sheen has come out of his shell a little more in this second round - it's still pretty even at this point, though

9:27pm

It's a cagey opening but it was Heard making the cleaner contact in the opening round.

Round two coming up...

9:26pm

Heard comes out of the blocks quicker as the two fighters exchange early pleasantries

9:24pm

And we're on our way - it's another four-round contest

9:22pm

And here comes Heard, to a rousing reception!

9:22pm

Heard's opponent Sheen is on his way to the ring

9:19pm

Right. Next-up is Gareth Heard.

The Bradford on Avon man (5-2) will be taking on Halesowen's Keith Sheen (2-1-1) at light-middleweight.

There's going to be short five-minute break before the Contender Gym fighter enters the ring for his seventh professional bout

9:17pm

Debutant Tom Duff takes a 40-36 decision against Spence

8:58pm

The announcer is back in the ring as we look set to get back to action.

The sixth fight of the night will see Guernsey debutant Tom Duff take on Scunthorpe's Steven Spence

8:41pm

There's now going to be an interval before the next fight

8:39pm

And that's that. Mike Rose claims a 80-73 victory and the Masters belt

8:36pm

We're into the final round - it's still Rose in control.

Balog is keen to counter-punch in this fight and hte Bath man has been well-guarded throughout, patiently chipping away.

8:19pm

Rose's clash with Balog is three rounds old and it's the Bath fighter that's in the driving seat.

He rocked his opponent with a punishing right hook midway through that third round

8:05pm

It's disappointment for the Contender Gym's Martin in his fourth professional beat.

Meanwhile, home fighter Mike Rose is up next. He's taking on Czech Jan Balog for an International Masters middleweight title

8:03pm

James Oliphant takes the decision against Luke Martin, who is beaten 39-38.

The Wakefield remained busy throughout the rounds and stood up to Martin's heavy hitting.

8:01pm

And that's time!

8:00pm

But Martin finishes strongly!

7:59pm

Oliphant gets busy in the fourth...

7:57pm

Slightly less work from Martin in that round - can he finish on a high in the fourth and final round, which is moments away!

7:53pm

Martin getting in to his rhythm in this second round, with the Melksham man on the front foot for most of the three minutes.

He's also let off a few fearsome looking haymakers, but Oliphant has managed to stay away from most of  them thus far.

Round three on the way

7:49pm

It was Oliphant who started the brightest but Martin's shots look like they pack a real punch, knocking his opponent back on more than one occasion.

Round two coming up...

7:46pm

Martin weighed in well over a stone heavier. First round underway!

7:44pm

And here come's Melksham's Martin!

7:44pm

His opponent, Wakefield's James Oliphant (0-7-2) is on his way into the ring

7:43pm

Coming up next in Melksham heavyweight Luke Martin (0-2-1).

The 29-year-old goes in search of his first professional victory

7:42pm

It was a punishing introduction to the pro ranks for Gardiner, who takes a 39-38 decision against Mark Till

7:24pm

Next into the ring will be Bristol debutant Jason Gardiner. An ex-Marine who is making his pro debut, raising money for injured soliders.

He's up against Stoke-on-Trent's Mark Till (2-5) at super-middleweight

7:22pm

Bristol's Pete Leworthy racks up a 40-36 points victory over veteran Kristain Laight to get tonight's show up and running.

7:11pm

The first fight of the night is one round old.

Tonight's running order sees Melksham's Luke Martin on third, Bradford's Gareth Heard sixth, Malmesbury's Joe Hughes seventh and Trowbridge's Nick Blackwell eighth

7:05pm

Unfortunately, I've just had it confirmed that Trowbridge's Dan Carr is no longer fighting tonight

7:05pm

The first fighter of the night is on his way to the ring. It's Nuneaton's Kristian Laight, who'll be taking on Bristol's Pete Leworthy

6:59pm

Of course, there's much more ring action to come before that - stick right here for live udpates from tonight's Bath fight night!

6:58pm

Meanwhile, Hughes takes a big step forward in his fight career tonight as he bids for his first professional title.

The 23-year-old (8-1) takes on Bulgarian Kristian Dochev (9-14) for the International Masters light-middleweight belt.

There was a late change of opponent for the former ABA national champion, who is now facing the first international opponent of his career in his first-ever ten-round fight.

6:56pm

Topping the interest for Wiltshire fight fans tonight will be the fortunes of Nick Blackwell and Joe Hughes.

The first fight of the year forTrowbridge's Blackwell (14-3) sees him take on former Prizefighter finalist Terry Carruthers over ten rounds.

Birmingham's Carruthers (15-16-6) is a former sparring partner of 'Bang Bang' Blackwell and has been in the ring with the likes Eamonn O'Kane and Chris Eubank Jr.

The Midlands man made it to the final of the last light-welterweight Prizefighter tournament before being stopped by Larry Edunkayo and in December last year, the 28-year-old’s British light-welterweight title eliminator bid was curtailed by cuts above both eyes as he was beaten by Jason Welborn, with Carruthers leading on all three scorecards at the time of the stoppage.

6:54pm

It's filling up nicely here at the spectacular Forum auditorium. Tonight's bill was expected to begin in just under ten minutes but there may well be a slight delay to this evening's start times.

Either way, we'll keep you updated on all the action as soon as we get started.

6:51pm

There's due to be a whopping ten fights in total tonight, with home fighter Mike Rose, Bristol duo Jason Gardiner and Peter Leworthy and Guernsey's Tom Duff all also operating out of the home corner.

6:51pm

Tonight's bill, promoted by Errol Johnson, is a collaboration between Trowbridge's Contender Gym and Bristol's Paddy John's Gym.

From the Contender, Trowbridge's Nick Blackwell, as well as Bradford on Avon's Gareth Heard and Luke Martin, from Melksham, are also in action.

Meanwhile, Malmesbury's Joe Hughes (pictured), who trains at Paddy John's, is set to fight for the International Masters light-middleweight title whilst his stable-mate Danny Butler, from Bristol, defends the English Middleweight belt against Martin Concepcion.
