WILTSHIRE ace Jazz Carlin will go in search of her third medal at this week's British Gas Swimming Championships this evening after making it through to the final of the 400m freestyle.

The 23-year-old former Wootton Bassett School pupil, who has already claimed 800m freestyle gold and the silver medal in the 200m event, will return to the Tollcross International Swimming Centre pool in Glasgow this evening for the final session of the championships.

Carlin, who set the fastest time in the world this year as she won the 800m yesterday, finished second-fastest in this morning's heats, clocking in with a time of 4:12.08.

Melksham's Rachel Williams, 20, was also in action in the 400m event as she finished 12th (4:16.84).

Meanwhile, Corsham paralympic star Stephanie Millward booked her place in the final of the 200m individual medley.

Millward, 32, finished second (2:42.34) in the SM9 category.
