TEN-MAN Corsham Town suffered a home defeat at the hands of league leaders Wincanton Town on Wednesday.

After a bright start from the hosts Wincanton took the lead mid-way through the first half.

A second after half-time knocked the wind out of the hosts before Ryan Tyrell saw red for two yellow cards.

With the extra man advantage the visitors were able to wrap up all three points with a third goal before the end.

Manager Trevor Rawlings was disappointed to see his side slip to their second defeat of the season.

“I thought we would give them a good game and had a side that could win.

“The two in the box gave us a lot of problems and they were up for the game.”
