TWO of the Wiltshire School of Gymnastics’ hottest prospects produced dazzling displays when they travelled to Guildford to compete in the National Challenge Cup recently.
Robyn Ellison, aged 14, competed in the junior category and despite suffering two falls, still managed to score a personal best of 43.550 to win a place in the 2015 South West squad.
Meanwhile, 13-year-old Jessica Daykin also scored a PB of 46.350 in the Espoir section, which included a superb performance on beam to earn her the bronze medal for that apparatus.
Daykin’s overall total also gives her an opportunity to compete at the British Championships later in the year.
