TROWBRIDGE made it back-to-back wins with a hard-fought success away at Swanage & Wareham.

As has become tradition, Steve Ojomoh’s side got off to a slow start and were lucky not to fall behind when Phil Graves sent a kick the wrong side of the posts for the Swans.

It soon became clear that Trowbridge had the better set of backs, though, and Joe Knight broke through the Swans’ defensive line to put George Fowles in for a score out wide, although Lloyd Davis was unable to convert.

The visitors were again caught offside from the restart and this time Graves made no mistake with the penalty to get the home side on the board.

Trowbridge were now on the back foot and a Swans lineout drive forced its way over the whitewash, with Will Corsie claiming the try and Graves adding the extras.

Trowbridge hit straight back and Ashley Chalk ran in under the posts, with Davis converting, but they could not hold onto the lead until the break as Rob Elford claimed a converted try to make it 17-12 to the Swans.

It was one-way traffic in the second half, though, and an easy second try for winger Fowles levelled it up.

The visitors upped the tempo and Nicky Little ran in under the posts before Chalk took their try tally to five before the whistle, with Davis converting both.
