AN EPIC comeback from Trowbridge Town A saw them overturn a 3-1 deficit at Melksham Town B and clinch a 4-3 victory in a thrilling end-to-end battle between two of the Division Two newcomers.

Melksham, 2-1 up at the break, went further ahead when Graham Griffiths added to goals from Sam Robinson and Dan Walker.

Trailing 3-1, Trowbridge only Kieran Green’s first-half goal to show for their efforts, but suddenly sprung into life as a stunning long range strike from Kyle Morgan-Hemmens cut the gap to the odd goal.

Trowbridge fashioned an equaliser through a second from Green who unleashed a thunderbolt to tie the scores at 3-3.

Sensing a victory was possible, Trowbridge turned was looking like a defeat into victory when Green headed in at the far post to complete his hat-trick and his team's amazing win.

Bradford Town Youth were on the road at a much-depleted Stiffs side, who entertained Mark Jones' youngsters at St Mary’s missing a few players and key personnel in Ade Giles and Keith Quadling.

The Stiffs, who went into the game on the back of four defeats had been expecting the worst, but things didn’t turn out that bad as a second-half effort from George Evans was the difference between the sides, earning Bradford the narrowest of 1-0 wins.

High-flying and high-scoring Three Daggers picked up another three points courtesy of a 4-0 home win over Aces FC.

Scott Walford's first goal of the match on three minutes separated the teams after 45 minutes.

Walford doubled the scoreline when he latched onto a pass from Adam Bishop.

Phil Hampson come off the bench and made it 3-0 with almost his first touch and Ryan Earny scored from the penalty spot to complete the scoring.

With no win from their opening four matches, Jason Carter took his battle-weary Zeals side to face Ross Pugh’s new boys Trowbridge Wanderers Development.

After a month of heartache Zeals, thanks to a 4-2 triumph, got their first points on the board.

Claudio De Silva Lopes' first-half double were his first goals for Zeals and along with an Aaron Carter effort it gave them a 3-1 interval lead, Wanderers' goal coming from Max Bougeard.

Carter added his second and Zeals' fourth of the afternoon in the second half and although Myles Woodward netted a second Wanderers goal it was little more than a consolation.

Calne Eagles came from 4-2 down against Warminster Town A to claim a last minute 5-4 victory.

This see-saw contest was sporting, entertaining and hotly-contested throughout.

Liam Gibbens (Warminster) and Mickey Taraskevics (Calne) traded early goals before Charlie Hull headed Warminster back in front.

Adam Welch levelled matters once more for Calne prior to Leon Lloyd regaining the lead for a Warminster side who started the contest with six 16-year-olds on the field.

A second from Gibbens put his team 4-2 up and Welch then bagged his second of the game to narrow the gap to the odd goal.

With eight minutes remaining Warminster were reduced to 10 men through injury and with the extra man advantage Calne struck two late goals, Taraskevics levelling at 4-4 and a hat-trick goal for Welsh sealing the win.
