RHYS Priestland, Max Clark and Tom Homer have all committed their future to Bath Rugby, the club have announced today.

Capped 48 times by Wales at international level, Priestland has prolonged his stay in the West Country after joining on an initial two-year deal from the Scarlets in the summer of 2015.

The fly-half, who has appeared in the Blue, Black and White 27 times and scored 101 points to date, has bought in a wealth of experience and competition to the backline, which will be crucial as the squad look to continue their development.

Clark, a Bath Rugby Academy product who graduated to the senior squad this summer, is a hugely exciting young talent.

The centre, who scored his debut Aviva Premiership try in the win over Saracens last month, has forced his way into regular contention for a place in the matchday squad this season with his dynamic and creative style of play.

Having joined Bath just under two years ago, Homer has come to the fore in the 2016/17 season, starting all but one of Bath’s games this season.

A composed, intelligent full-back, Homer is as staunch a defender as he is an attacking threat going forward, and his kicking ability – from hand and from the tee - is a huge benefit to the team.

Bath director of rugby Todd Blackadder is delighted that all three have agreed to extend their contracts.

He said: "Rhys, Max and Tom are all really integral members of the squad, and it’s great news for the club going forward that they have agreed to stay here.

"They are all at slightly different stages in their careers – Max having just broken through into the first team, Tom is continuing to show his quality and consistency this season at fullback, whilst Rhys is a hugely experienced, world-class international who has been unlucky with injury this season – but they are really excited about the future with Bath."
