IT IS now certain that Three Daggers will be guaranteed a top-two finish and a 9-2 triumph for Sam Tucker’s side at The Stiffs means that the race to be champions will be decided when they face Calne Eagles in a fortnight’s time.

Phil Hampson opened the scoring only for Stiffs equalised soon after when poor defending allowing John Farr to score from a free header.

Joe Moloney regained the lead for Daggers and a further three goals from Hampson saw him claim a first half four-timer to make it 5-1.

The second half was more of the same, with substitutes Mark Young and Wayne Wheeler making instant impacts.

Good play between Jon Hogarth and Hampson saw the latter playing a lovely pass to Young who finished with class.

Young then turned provider for Moloney to score his scored shortly after.

The goal of the game came when Ryan Underwood set up Shaun Sheppard who thumped the ball home for 8-1 from outside the box.

Steve Lewin netted a second for the Stiffs, before Daggers' Hampson rounded the scoring off with his fifth of the game.

Calne Eagles kept up their challenge for the title with an 8-3 victory over Zeals.

Calne made the best possible start when Adam Welch headed home a Jordan Winter cross after only 60 seconds.

Zeals levelled through Claudio Lopes, but Calne hit back and took a 2-1 lead after 24 minutes when a Will Gale’s shot from just outside the box took a wicked deflection and totally wrong-footed unlucky Zeals’ goalkeeper Shane Rendell.

Steve Wyatt restored parity and then missed from the penalty spot as the teams went into the break at 2-2.

As Zeals rapidly ran out of steam in the second half, Calne took total control for the game with Mickey Taraskevics scoring a hat-trick and Gale adding a couple to his first-half strike to claim his three-timer.

Winter also capped a fine personal performance when he superbly headed home Barry Forster’s right-wing cross.

Zeals reduced the arrears to five goals when sub Adam Cudlip scored his team’s third.
